What Is Sarah Wexner’s Net Worth in 2026?
Sarah Wexner’s personal net worth is not publicly confirmed. She’s a private individual – no disclosed salary, no public business ventures, no financial filings that would give outsiders any real number to work with.
What we do know is the family context. Her father, Les Wexner, has an estimated net worth of approximately $11.2 billion according to Bloomberg. That makes him one of the wealthiest people in Ohio and one of the longest-tenured retail billionaires in American history.
Being part of that family almost certainly means significant financial security. But Sarah herself has never disclosed personal figures, and no credible source has reported them. Any specific dollar amount you see elsewhere for her personal wealth is not confirmed.
Early Life and Background
Sarah Wexner grew up as the daughter of Les Wexner and Abigail S. Koppel – a retail billionaire and a lawyer-turned-philanthropist who raised their family in New Albany, Ohio. It’s a background that gave her both privilege and, by all accounts, a strong sense of responsibility.
She attended Columbus Academy for her early schooling – a well-regarded private institution known for producing high-achieving students who go on to top universities. After that, she was accepted into Harvard University, one of the most competitive schools in the world.
She later enrolled at the Alder Graduate School of Education, which trains educators focused on improving learning systems and supporting underserved communities. That second degree says something: she could have coasted on her family name, but she kept going.
The Wexner Family Wealth – How It Was Built
The story of Wexner family wealth starts in 1963 with a $5,000 loan from an aunt. Les Wexner used that money – matched by a bank loan – to open The Limited in the Kingsdale Shopping Center in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The idea was simple: focus on moderately priced clothing that sold fast and generated cash quickly.
It worked. He took Limited Brands public in 1969 and expanded rapidly through the 1970s, opening his 100th store by 1976. The real acceleration came in the 1980s.
In 1982, Wexner acquired Victoria’s Secret for an undisclosed amount of stock and $1 million. By 1992, Victoria’s Secret alone was worth an estimated $1 billion. He eventually built L Brands – a retail holding company that included Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Pink, and several other brands.
Bloomberg estimates Les Wexner’s current net worth at approximately $11.2 billion. That fortune – built over six decades in retail – is the financial foundation Sarah Wexner grew up inside.
Sarah Wexner’s Own Work and Interests
Philanthropy
Sarah watched her mother lead The Wexner Foundation, which focuses on Jewish community leadership development and educational programs in both the United States and Israel. Those early experiences clearly shaped her direction.
Her own philanthropic interests align with education and public service. She has been involved in programs focused on democracy, civic engagement, and youth leadership. The details of her specific contributions aren’t publicly documented in depth – but the pattern of her academic and career choices points consistently toward social impact work.
Art World Involvement
The Wexner family has a long history in the arts. Les Wexner served on the board of Sotheby’s and the Whitney Museum of American Arts, and funded the Wexner Center for the Arts at Ohio State University. Sarah’s connection to the arts comes primarily through this family legacy rather than independently documented involvement of her own. Specific confirmed roles for Sarah in galleries or cultural institutions are not publicly on record.
Public Profile
Sarah has no verified Instagram, Twitter, or any social media account. There are no magazine profiles, no press appearances, no digital footprint worth mentioning. For someone from one of America’s wealthiest families, that level of privacy is almost unusual. It’s clearly a deliberate choice – and it tells you something about how she thinks about her public life.
Les Wexner Net Worth – The Family Fortune
Les Wexner, born September 8, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, built his fortune from a single store into a multi-billion-dollar retail empire over more than six decades.

His name has remained in headlines in recent years. In February 2026, Wexner was named as being on a 2019 list of potential Epstein co-conspirators within an FBI email – though according to Epstein victims’ lawyer Brad Edwards, there is no evidence to suggest Wexner was in Epstein’s company at the time of his crimes.
